Lucas Group has partnered with our client on their search for a Manager of IT Operations. Our client runs several healthcare facilities in Northwestern Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity that will be highly visible to the CEO and CFO of the company and will make vital decision on the future of the IT department with our client. They are looking for an individual that has strategic thinking to implement multi-year projects while still preforming hands-on duties on a day-to-day basis.
This is an in-person opportunity, the ideal candidate will work on site in Cherokee, IA and is a direct hire role.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day operations of the IT department
- Oversee contracts for 3rd party vendors on IT infrastructure and systems
- Assist daily with IT support and infrastructure
- Manage the deliverables for contract staff and vendors
- Manage the core infrastructure of the facilities
- Manage the budget for the IT department
Skills Needed:
- Experience in Healthcare IT
- Experience in best practices of Cyber Security/Data Security
- 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and maintenance of servers and network equipment
- Basic knowledge in finance and budgeting
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Work Experience: 5-6 yrs. Engineering experience
