Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician (for Industrial Refrigeration) to cover their Dallas/Fort Worth TX service area. ROAD WARRIORS NEEDED: Travel will be up to 90% locally within the service branch area (company vehicle provided.)
Candidate MUST HAVE hands-on ammonia (NH3) industrial refrigeration experience (not “HVAC”, not supermarket racks.) Real ammonia systems in cold storage, food processing, pharma or industrial plants.
Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in:
• Industrial refrigeration service companies
• Cold storage facilities (NH3 plants)
• Food & beverage processing plants with ammonia systems
• Industrial maintenance roles supporting NH3 equipment
Compensation: $35.00-50.00/hr (DOE) + company vehicle provided
What You Will Do:
• Perform scheduled and emergency service on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Will troubleshoot both mechanical and control system issues, service compressors, condensers, air units/evaporators, and system components.
• Will complete service reports and work orders using tablet-based software.
• Support equipment installs, startups, and commissioning; communicate directly with customers and service leadership.
Education and Work Experience:
• At least 4 years U.S. Military experience
• Hands-on ammonia (NH3) industrial refrigeration experience (systems in cold storage, food processing, pharma or industrial plants) required.
• Ammonia awareness + HAZWOPER and EPA certification required.
• ROAD WARRIOR required: ~90% local travel required (company vehicle provided.)
