Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Project Manager of Field Installations in Milan IL (south Davenport area.) This is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a rapidly growing organization that invests heavily in its work-force and has a strong track record of hiring transitioning military talent.
* REQUIRED: this client is specifically seeking candidates with at least 4 years of experience in the US military.
JMO from any background experienced in Team Leadership and Safety Management highly preferred, or degreed NCO from combat arms MOS with Team Leadership experience in any capacity. The goal is to grow into the General Manager role within 5-7 years.
HIGH TRAVEL: 90% + (based out of Milan IL area)
Compensation: $80,000-90,000 (+ Travel Incentives)
What You Will Do:
- Lead field teams during system installations across the US
- Coordinate with project engineers, tradespeople, and clients to ensure smooth site execution
- Manage schedule, staffing, and quality on job sites
- Read and interpret construction plans and specs
- Track and report project progress and field issues
- Troubleshoot installation problems on-site
- Ensure safety, professionalism, and client satisfaction throughout
- Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to changing field conditions
Education and Work Experience:
- Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (JMO/degreed NCO with Team Leadership required, ie: Combat Engineering, Horizontal Construction, or Combat Arms, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Field-based leadership experience; ability to travel on short notice (within 72 hours, 7 days a week) – ROAD WARRIOR REQUIRED, up to 90% travel.
