Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Quality Control Technician at their Milwaukee WI facility. Experience in the construction industry and/or with building materials is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
Compensation: $28.00-32.00/hour
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for monitoring the quality and compliance of products.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with on-site Production team to ensure any issues are discovered and resolved.
- Observe 3rd party testing on-site to ensure required compliance; assist Lab department as needed.
- Responsible for safety on job sites and in the yard.
- Assist drivers and help troubleshoot issues; help drivers in and out of buildings; assist in guidance of trucks in difficult situations.
Education and Work Experience:
- at least 4 years of US Military experience required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Required to have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (will operate company vehicles in the field/at job sites.)
- Strongly required: good understanding of chemistry and math; good problem-solving skills are a must
- Strong communication skills and customer service in a technical environment required.
- Background in construction or building industry highly preferred.
