Role Summary

The Business Development Director will drive revenue growth within the Insurance sector. This individual contributor role focuses on new logo acquisition, expanding strategic accounts, and leading large, multi-year services engagements.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling IT, digital, and/or BPS services to insurance carriers and demonstrates a strong track record of hunting, deal origination, and closing complex enterprise engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead new customer acquisition within the Insurance sector.

Develop and execute territory and go-to-market strategies focused exclusively on insurance clients.

Drive multi-million-dollar, multi-year deal pursuits from origination through close.

Build relationships with senior executives, including CIO, CTO, COO, and business line leaders.

Partner with presales and delivery teams to develop tailored, value-driven solutions.

Expand and strengthen existing insurance accounts.

Maintain strong knowledge of insurance industry trends, technology priorities, and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

10+ years of sales/business development experience in IT, BPS, or consulting services.

Demonstrated success selling to insurance carriers (P&C, Life, Annuities, or Health).

Strong hunter mentality with proven new logo acquisition success.

Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals.

Established network within the U.S. insurance market (Midwest experience strongly preferred).

Executive presence with strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
