Atlantic Health is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care provider at the forefront of medicine, setting standards for quality, innovation, and value-based care across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the New York metropolitan area. Serving more than half of New Jersey—including 14 counties and a population of over 7.5 million—Atlantic Health touched more than 1.1 million lives last year alone. Nearly half of its patient population participates in risk-based arrangements designed to enhance access to affordable, high-quality care.

Over the past decade, Atlantic Health has experienced remarkable growth while redefining the health care delivery model—transitioning from fee-for-service to value-based care and consistently proving itself as the best value in health care across the state.

Powered by a workforce of 25,000 team members and 5,667 affiliated physicians, Atlantic Health operates more than 550 sites of care, including eight hospitals: Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center, Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center, Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center, Atlantic Health Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute, and Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center. These facilities are supported by Atlantic Medical Group, part of a physician enterprise that makes up one of the largest multispecialty practices in New Jersey with almost 2,000 physicians and advance practice providers.

The system’s clinically integrated network, Atlantic Alliance, includes more than 4,000 health care providers and is anchored by Atlantic Accountable Care Organization and Optimus Healthcare Partners. Atlantic Health delivers care across the full continuum—from 26 urgent care centers and home-based services through Atlantic Visiting Nurse, to virtual care via Atlantic Health Virtual Visits. Its robust transportation fleet, Atlantic Mobile Health, ensures seamless connectivity across all care settings.

Founded by Atlantic Health, the Healthcare Transformation Consortium is a partnership of seven regional hospitals and health systems dedicated to improving access and affordability. With a strong academic foundation, Atlantic Health is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University and hosts the regional campus of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. It is also the official health care partner of the New York Jets.
