CHOICE is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer. For more than six decades, CHOICE has been the independent voice for Australian consumers. With over 200,000 members, its work influences public policy, industry standards, and everyday decision making through rigorous product testing, evidence-based advice, investigative journalism, and consumer centred advocacy.

As CEO, you will provide future focused strategic leadership that strengthens CHOICE’s mission in a rapidly shifting consumer and media landscape. Reporting to the CHOICE Board, you will set strategic clarity, build organisational capability, and ensure the organisation fully leverages major investments in digital platforms, data, modern product development, and customer experience. You will steward financial sustainability across diversified revenue streams and identify new, mission aligned commercial opportunities.

You will be a visible, present leader who unites a committed workforce, fosters cross functional collaboration, and builds cultural momentum. As the public face of CHOICE, you will represent the organisation with authority across media, government, industry, regulators, and the broader consumer rights sector; strengthening its national influence and public trust.

The role demands a driven executive with the capability to lead transformation while maintaining stability, clarity, and organisational cohesion. You will bring commercial acumen, sound judgement, and integrity, with experience in complex, consumer focused, membership, media, digital, or advocacy environments. Your leadership style will be collaborative, empathetic, and inspiring as well as being able to bring people on the journey and create enthusiasm for CHOICE’s future direction.
