Lead the future of media standards in Australia
The Australian Press Council (APC) is seeking a highly credible and contemporary leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer, guiding the organisation at a pivotal moment for journalism, public trust, and media regulation in Australia. As the principal body for promoting and maintaining high standards in print and digital media, the APC plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of journalism through arms-length industry self-regulation and an independent complaints process.

- Elevate APC’s public voice and influence
- Lead the organisation’s strategic agenda and day-to-day operations
- Strengthen engagement with media, government and the community
- Position APC for regulatory reform and sector-wide impact
