The Opportunity:
MorseLife is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next President & Chief Executive Officer, guiding one of the nation’s most respected organizations dedicated to serving seniors. Located in West Palm Beach, Florida, MorseLife has spent more than 40 years innovating to ensure seniors enjoy full and rewarding lives in an environment defined by compassionate care, outstanding service, and a vibrant community. The organization offers a comprehensive continuum of services including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, and memory care within its 50-acre campus community, while also extending services throughout Palm Beach County through home health, hospice, and other community-based programs. With the support of approximately 1,620 full-time employees, the campus offers 696 beds across the care continuum.
The Health System Board of Directors is seeking a visionary and collaborative executive to build upon MorseLife’s strong legacy of high-quality care, innovation, and community impact. The CEO will have the opportunity to lead a mission-driven organization that provides a comprehensive continuum of services—including healthcare, housing, and supportive programs—designed to enhance the lives of older adults and their families. This future leader will work closely with the organization’s various Boards and Executive Team to refine and advance the organization’s strategic vision, strengthen its reputation within the community, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
A critical priority for the next CEO will be to actively lead and elevate MorseLife’s philanthropic enterprise. This individual will serve as a highly visible and engaged partner in fundraising efforts—working closely with the Foundation, Board members, and key donors to expand philanthropic support and position MorseLife for its next phase of growth. The CEO will be expected to cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, participate directly in solicitations, and help shape a compelling case for support that aligns with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Twenty years of progressive leadership in healthcare, with at least ten years in a senior-level executive role.
- Proven experience gained in the Health Care Delivery System continuum.
- Must have leadership experience gained in multi-site and matrix organizations.
- Must demonstrate a proven history of effectively leading a multifaceted and dynamic healthcare organization offering a wide range of services.
- An authentic, visible and highly engaged leader with the ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate others to achieve common goals; the ability to gain trust, credibility, loyalty, and respect.
- Proven fundraiser with success forging relationships in the community.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee transformational changes from innovation to implementation, working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to create sustained value.

Experience establishing and maintaining productive relationships with local, state, and federal legislators and public agencies is highly valued.

- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- An advanced degree is strongly preferred (i.e. Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Master’s Business Administration (MBA), PhD; MD).
