Dunton Family Dean, D'Amore-McKim School of Business
Northeastern University, a global university with 14 campuses spanning the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., is seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial academic leader to serve as the Dunton Family Dean of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean serves as D’Amore-McKim's chief academic and executive officer and as a member of Northeastern's senior academic leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial Dean to advance the school's distinctive model of experiential business education, deepen its global reach, grow its research enterprise, and strengthen the partnerships that make Northeastern's future-forward approach to business education genuinely distinctive.
The Dean holds responsibility for D’Amore-McKim's faculty, staff, and students, as well as for the school's long-term strategic direction and financial health across the university’s global campus network. As a visible ambassador for D’Amore-McKim, the Dean will cultivate and sustain relationships across the university’s colleges and campuses and with corporate, civic, and global partners. The scale of Northeastern's global network, combined with D'Amore-McKim's distinctive strengths, creates a unique competitive advantage for an ambitious academic leader. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated record of leadership in a complex academic or professional environment, a deep commitment to world-class scholarship and experiential learning, and the interpersonal skill to engage and inspire a wide range of constituencies.
