ActBlue seeks an entrepreneurial and dynamic Head of Outreach. The Head of Outreach will join ActBlue at a pivotal growth moment in our organizational evolution, as we accelerate towards the 2024 election and our ambitious goal of bringing our tools and small-dollar mission to 30,000 campaigns, committees, and nonprofits across the country. Effective growth strategy and management leadership skills are particularly important to ActBlue’s success in the next decade. 

The Head of Outreach will lead the organization’s client-based growth strategy with dedication, passion, and technical leadership. The Head of Outreach will be responsible for the strategic development and advancement of the organization’s growth functions with a strong focus on the organization’s Washington D.C. based clientele. The incoming Head of Outreach will provide leadership to a diverse professional team. They will work closely with operations leadership and staff in implementing a mission-focused, product and client-based growth strategy. 

This leader will be responsible for collaborating, planning, and informing the work of the team to improve ActBlue’s delivery of offerings to political and non-profit entities. The Head of Outreach will be a skilled navigator and connector who understands the needs of progressive political and non-profit organizations, and how to translate those needs into innovation opportunities for ActBlue to help fortify the progressive infrastructure through online fundraising. This is a remote opportunity. However, frequent travel to Washington D.C is required to maintain the organization’s largest clients.
